Clean Water for Rural Communities

Story

Access to clean water remains a critical issue in many rural communities in Nigeria. Contaminated water sources lead to diseases and high child mortality rates. Our mission is to provide sustainable access to clean water through the construction of boreholes and the distribution of water purification systems, directly improving health and livelihoods.

We have successfully installed 15 boreholes across rural communities in Northern Nigeria, directly impacting over 10,000 lives. One of our notable projects in the village of Kangiwa reduced the incidence of waterborne diseases by 60% within the first six months of operation. Women and children, who used to spend hours fetching water from distant sources, now have safe water right in their communities.

We are currently focusing on building 10 new boreholes in communities identified as high-need areas. Each borehole project includes not just the construction but also community training on maintenance and water conservation, ensuring the long-term sustainability of the water supply.
